Role Overview
As the Enterprise Cloud Solutions Lead for Hyperscaler and Enterprise Solutions, you will serve as the primary bridge between complex business challenges and high-scale cloud solutions. This is a high-impact, pre‑sales leadership role focused on driving large-scale cloud adoption across the APAC region. You will be responsible for designing the technical roadmap for "Fortune 500" clients, leveraging deep expertise in Hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP or Ali Cloud) to architect resilient, cost-effective, and future‑proof digital infrastructures, thereby driving cloud and Enterprise solutions growth across the APAC region. Your primary focus would be to work closely with APAC Sales and Client Partner teams and help drive potential solution options as part of pre‑sales pitches for our Enterprise customers by leveraging UST’s Cloud/Hyperscaler and Enterprise capabilities that help solve their specific business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Pre‑Sales Solutions: Act as the resident authority on Hyperscaler‑based Enterprise solutions during the discovery, qualification, and proposal phases.
- Hyperscaler Ecosystem Mastery: Design multi‑cloud or hybrid‑cloud solutions that integrate Hyperscaler services with existing Enterprise SaaS and legacy systems.
- Executive Advisory: Act as a "Trusted Advisor" to stakeholders like CIO/CTO, VP, facilitating workshops on digital transformation, cloud economics, and risk mitigation.
- Partner Networking: Work closely with Hyperscaler partner teams (e.g., AWS Partner Network, Microsoft Partner Center) to understand latest features and feasibility of solutions that can be adopted and combined with UST’s internal capabilities for customer solutions.
- Joint Go‑to‑Market (GTM): Co‑develop and execute regional growth plans with sales & partner teams, including joint webinars, executive roundtables, and co‑selling initiatives.
- Solution Design & Scoping: Lead the creation of High‑Level Designs (HLD), Proof of Concepts (PoC), and associated Statements of Work (SoW). Ensure all proposed solutions are commercially viable, competitive and technically sound.
- Regional Collaboration: Support the APAC sales team in hitting revenue targets by identifying white‑space opportunities within Enterprise accounts.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of regional trends in APAC, including data sovereignty laws, local compliance requirements, and the evolving AI/ML landscape within Hyperscaler environments.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- The "Matured" Professional: Minimum of 12–15 years in Information Technology, with at least 5+ years specifically in a Technical Pre‑Sales or Solutions Architecture capacity.
- Hyperscaler Expertise: Proven track record of designing solutions on at least two major platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- Enterprise Depth: Deep understanding of enterprise‑grade technologies including VMware, SAP on Cloud, SaaS solution platforms, high‑performance networking, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to build "Business Cases for Cloud," including TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment) modeling.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional command of the English language (written and verbal). Ability to present complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences with gravitas.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience navigating the diverse cultural and business landscapes of the APAC market (specifically ASEAN and Greater China region).
- Deep knowledge of modern paradigms: Cloud‑Native, Serverless, FinOps, and Kubernetes/Containerization.
- Experience with Sovereign Cloud requirements or highly regulated industries (FSI, Government, Energy).
