Engineer - Test Development (Software Coding)

Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. Job Scope

• Responsible for independently develop and improve machines codes for all production lines including PDP new lines in the whole value stream.
• Responsible as system engineer in improving on production lines including PDP new lines in the whole value stream for First Pass Yield, OEE and DP (BPS projects) target until product end of life.
• Mentor one test development engineer and one equipment engineer.

Job Tasks

• Developing concepts for customized equipment – test methodology and setup.
• Develop and program software code for customized equipment based on functional specification.
• Improve existing equipment code based on technical requirements and performing functional test of software codes.
• Supporting line and warranty teams for code changes and updates.
• Design collaboration with international team in state-of-the-art software technologies.
• Integrate machine software and hardware with product in optimum electrical/optical/mechanical performance of the whole test system.
• Introduce and implement process control parameters and checklist where necessary.
• Provide technical leadership within the value stream in manufacturing and testing technology.
• Responsible to introduce and maintain I4.0 solution to the value stream.

Qualifications
