Qualifications

• Holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Civil, Structural Engineering or Building Technology.
• 1-2 years of experience in preparing 3D models and/or working on building construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Developing/Enhancing 3D models for coordination and shop drawings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to innovate BIM solutions.
• Perform design studies for various engineering disciplines before construction.
• Ensure consultants’ design complies with the project scope and schedule.
• Issue RFIs and follow up on design changes with consultants.
• Work with senior design engineers on proposed design solutions.
• Collaboratively work with Site Operation & Production teams on designs.
• Guide draftspersons/3D modellers on the project.
• Participate in technical discussions to resolve project issues.
• Adhere to Quality, Safety & Health and Environmental matters related to the job.

Skills

Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Autodesk Revit

Experience with SketchUp

Experience with SolidWorks

Experience with Autodesk Inventor

Job summary: Provide technical support for building and data center construction project by developing 3D BIM model and simulating complex building systems for Architecture, Civil & Structure, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing/Enhancing 3D models for coordination works, shop drawing, combined services drawing (CSD) production.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative BIM solutions for construction projects.
• Perform design and constructability study for Architecture, Civil and Structure, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing disciplines of the project virtually before commencing construction.
• Reviews and ensures consultants’ design for the project according to the scope of work and specification according to the defined schedule.
• Issuing RFIs, design options/changes, 3D modelling issues and other design issues to the consultants’ and follow up closely.
• Work closely with senior design engineer in proposing design solutions based on engineering principles and best practices.
• Actively collaboration with Site Operation & Production teams on the creation of cutting-edge designs, construction and fabrication processes.
• Lead and guide draftspersons/3D modellers assigned to the project.
• Participate in technical, operational and BIM discussion to resolve problems related to projects.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.

Qualifications

Holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Civil and Structural Engineering / Building Technology or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Autodesk Revitis an advantage.
• Other 3D modeling software, such as SketchUp, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor, will also be considered.
