Job summary

A leading Asset Management & Infrastructure Solutions company in Terengganu is seeking an experienced professional to oversee asset inspections and maintenance coordination. The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering, along with hands-on experience in asset management and inspection practices. Candidates should be well-versed in asset management systems and possess strong communication skills. Job description
  • Plan and conduct periodic asset inspections (bridges, culverts, slopes, buildings, and road furniture) based on approved weekly inspection schedules.
  • Coordinate Asset Management Services for LPT2 under the direction of the Project Director, Project Manager, and Asset Manager.
  • Prepare inspection reports, defect lists, and update asset inspection status in a timely manner.
  • Notify LPT2 Sdn. Bhd. of identified defects and required routine maintenance works.
  • Monitor and audit routine maintenance works daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Assist with DAL registration upon receipt and identify defects or non-compliance issues.
  • Register defects as NOD in the MHA EPI system and coordinate with MHA, LPT2, and EIS for rectification and closure.
  • Analyse MHA EPI system ratings and prepare NOD/NCR reports for routine and heavy repair works.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors on inspection and maintenance matters.
  • Attend and coordinate meetings related to routine works, including preparation of minutes of meeting, while ensuring QSHE compliance at site.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of total work experience, with at least 2–3 years in asset management and civil works (roads, bridges, structures, or related infrastructure).
  • Hands‑on experience in asset inspection, defect reporting, routine maintenance monitoring, and audit inspections.
  • Familiar with asset management systems and tools such as MHA EPI, EOSP, AutoCAD, Primavera, Microsoft Project, and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Possession of relevant certifications (e.g. CIDB, WAH, AESP, SHO) is an added advantage.
