A manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and install electrical diagrams for machinery. Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, draw and install electrical diagram, components and wiring for machinery.
• Develop detailed electrical di drawings, electrical system specifications, and requisitions for electrical parts and installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Perform a range of engineering tasks, including establishing installation standards or specifications through detailed calculations.
• Work closely with Programming and Production teams to align electrical and programming components, ensuring cohesive machine functionality.
• Plan and assign tasks and supervise electrical wiremen and technicians to meet project timelines.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Inspect and verify all machine wiring and sign off on the checklist before Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

Additional Responsibilities

• Draw and design electrical wiring diagrams for machines & projects.
• Perform occasional mechanical design tasks and provide outdoor service for electrical projects, as directed by superiors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar electrical engineering role, preferably in the industrial machinery or manufacturing industry.
