Job description
  • Coordinate and manage partner agencies to execute eCommerce tactics to ensure sound comprehensive recommendations are strategically and efficiently fit hotel's objectives; ensure ROI goals are achieved for SEO & SEM campaigns, PPC, mobile and social activity.
  • Exhibit knowledge of CPA, CPC, CPM, e-mail buys, paid search, mobile and other conventional and unconventional internet advertising/acquisition models.
  • Developing and optimizing the online reachability to maximise ranking/visibility of properties on all E‑channels, such as search engines, channels, meta channels, GDS and brand.com.
  • Support the website functionality for the development and sending of consumer and trade emailing or RFP and make sure all functionalities are working properly and test the response.
  • Develop eCommerce strategies and best practice rules to optimise content, relevancy, accuracy, search‑oriented keywords, traffic driving tactics, and strategy performance on brand.com website and work with the marketing team on corrective actions.
  • Set overall digital and eCommerce direction to help drive revenues, including implementation of additional digital channels and develop digital advertisement strategy for Room, F&B, Spa, MICE and digital B2B according to the company roadmap.
  • Work closely with hotel marketing team to ensure optimal contents and its translations as well as working along with hotel revenue team to create new offer landing pages or add/update room type details across electronic distribution channels.
  • Leverage electronic distribution channels and assist in establishing best practices to manage Online Travel Agents by maximizing the dynamic connectivity and controlling rate dilutions to drive direct conversions.
  • Better manage, develop measure and assist in executing social channels activity, which will include assisting marketing team to put together creative strategies to generate Fan Base, working with agencies on tagging and monitoring social media performance using approved tools. Also be responsible for driving/evaluating business case documents put together by hotels for use of all social media channel requests.
  • Regularly study, measure, analyse and report eCommerce and distribution performances and suggest tactics improvements and new activities to optimise ROI and grow direct revenue.
  • Identify, articulate and rationalise insights and recommendations to senior hotel management, including providing ongoing updates of industry news, trends, issues, site features and best practices.
  • Be familiar with the technical set‑up of all relevant distribution channels, manage according to Minor Hotel's distribution strategy and closely monitor business shifts between channels.
  • Manage the channel manager and interface of new channels in conjunction with the revenue and reservations team.
  • Drive email marketing initiatives along with the marketing team. Responsible for setting up accounts with approved vendors, driving quarterly/annual activity calendar, generating quarterly performance reports and conducting regular database audits.
  • Work closely with revenue and marketing team for all commercial activities over digital and online medium.
