The applicant for this role is responsible for executing end-to-end CDD processes to support risk-based assessments on counterparties. This role ensures all due diligence activities comply with internal CDD policies, global data privacy regulations, and audit requirements while maintaining accurate records and supporting business stakeholders.

Description
  • Perform CDD screening and assessments on counterparties in line with the risk-based CDD process and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor and prioritise assigned cases in the CDD tool to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct on-demand screenings and review continuous monitoring alerts for potential new matches.
  • Validate screening matches, assess relevance, and recommend next steps-including escalation or higher-level due diligence when necessary.
  • Document complete rationale for all decisions within the CDD tool to maintain a clear audit trail.
  • Issue CDD request forms to counterparties, review returned documentation, and recommend appropriate risk ratings.
  • Prepare and communicate mitigating actions to business requestors where necessary.
  • Ensure all documentation and data are stored securely in accordance with CDD policies and data privacy requirements.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to business requestors to ensure correct application of CDD rigor.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACAMS or ICA are an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CDD, Pre-Qualification, AML/KYC, Compliance, Finance, or related fields.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical approach.
