Job Summary

We are seeking a competent Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, coordinating with multiple disciplines, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting project proposals. This role also involves guiding and training junior staff to ensure adherence to project standards and ISO requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce quality drawings based on sketches, guidelines from Engineers, or reference from past project drawings.
• Produce coordinated drawings considering space requirements and integration with other disciplines.
• Manage and maintain records of all drawings, both hardcopy and digital, received from external parties and produced internally.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, printing, and document compilation.
• Support Engineers in the preparation of proposals as required.
• Review subordinates’ work, provide feedback, and offer guidance.
• Conduct on-the-job training for subordinates to enhance skills and efficiency.
• Assist in drawing compilation in accordance with ISO requirements.

Key Requirements

• Minimum SPM or Certificate in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on drafting experience, preferably within engineering or construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit Modeller, with the ability to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
• Experience as a Structural Drafter, particularly in reinforced concrete (RC) or structural steelwork.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in Mandarin as an added advantage.
