Job summary

A leading energy industrial company in Malaysia is seeking a BIM Specialist to generate and coordinate BIM models and develop technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in a related field, a minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM, and proficiency in relevant software tools. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex projects are essential. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, and proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in BIM in Construction/M&E Industry.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in both English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Generate and coordinate the BIM Model.
• Develop and prepare technical drawings, layouts, and designs based on project specifications.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into detailed plans.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company requirements.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project changes.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized drawing archives in accordance with project documentation standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in drafting software.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Architecture or any other related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience of BIM in Construction/M&E Industry.
• Proficient in BIM Modelling, Autodesk, AutoCAD, Solid Works, Navisworks and 2D & 3D Modelling tools or similar BIM software.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling multiple ongoing, complex projects while successfully meeting requirements.
• Must be organized, results-driven and proactive.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail, judgement, and integrity.
• Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Proficient in Mandarin would be strong advantage to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Immediately available is highly preferred.
