A leading industrial gas company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage documents using OpenText and SAP. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in engineering, with at least one year of relevant experience in document control. Responsibilities include maintaining document integrity, publishing, and ensuring compliance with global procedures. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. Flexibility to work with different cultures and on flexible hours is required.

Reporting directly to the CMD and Global Documentation Manager. This position is responsible for administration of the documents in the OpenText application for the assigned region (Asia/Americas/Europe) and works with the central document management team. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent coordination skills.
Candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Engineering. Applicants holding a Bachelor degree in related fields – such as Operations Management, Computer Science – are also encouraged to apply.
Minimum 1 year of professional document control or engineering support experience.
Working experience in using SAP or OpenText.
Experience in Oil & Gas, chemical processing, or allied industry is an added advantage.
Familiarity with document types such as drawings, technical documents, electrical, controls, instrumentation etc.
Detail oriented and ability to work at a steady pace without compromising on quality.
Ability to work independently, and also as a team player demonstrating excellent collaboration.
Ability to work with different cultures involving multiple regions across the globe.
Be Flexible, attention to detail and excellent communication skills (email and spoken English).
Ability to work flexible hours (night meeting 2-3 times per month).
