Job description

Devsync Tech Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will work on cutting-edge technology projects from our Kuala Lumpur Sentral office, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative software solutions.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for server environment setup, daily operations and maintenance, performance tuning, and emergency troubleshooting to ensure stable and efficient service operation.

Manage service deployment, updates, maintenance, and status monitoring.

Collaborate effectively with R&D, operations, and other teams on testing and bug resolution.

Develop and maintain operations tools to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.

Explore and apply new operations technologies to enhance the overall platform.

Proficient in building and managing Kubernetes clusters.

Practical experience with gray (progressive) release is a strong plus.

What we're looking for

3–5 years or more of operations/DevOps experience.

Proficient in Linux system operations and maintenance.

Strong expertise in building and understanding clusters of ElasticSearch, Nginx, RocketMQ, Redis, Nacos, and MongoDB, including familiarity with common commands.

Experienced with mainstream configuration management and DevOps tools such as SVN, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Harbor, and Nexus Repository.

Solid understanding of container technologies; proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledgeable in DevOps practices with hands‑on experience using CI/CD tools.

Proficient in Python, Shell, and Ansible, capable of developing automated operations systems.

Skilled in using system monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Prometheus.

Familiar with cloud servers; programming experience is preferred. Experience with multi‑cloud management is an advantage.

Familiar with building and maintaining ELK environments.

Experience in implementing security solutions is a plus.

Working Hours and Culture

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Current project schedule: Temporarily 6 working days/week (Monday–Saturday) with Saturday WFH during high-demand projects.

Overtime: Must be able to work overtime when required.
