Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated Junior Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Cards - Service Delivery QA team. The role involves development, maintenance, and production support for Mainframe-based Cardlink applications within the Payments Card domain. You will work closely with QA, operations, and business teams to ensure system reliability, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Mainframe Cobol, CICS, Easytrieve, and JCL.
  • Work with VSAM and sequential datasets to support application processing and data handling.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables for the Cards platform.
  • Provide production support, including issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution within agreed SLAs.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system integration testing.
  • Document technical specifications, change requests, and production incidents.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Mainframe development.
  • Strong skills in Mainframe Cobol, CICS, Easytrieve, and JCL.
  • Experience with VSAM and sequential datasets.
  • Hands‑on experience in Cardlink and Payments Card domain.
  • Previous experience in production support, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe ZOS operating system.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
  • Knowledge of card transaction processing flows and payment gateways.
  • Experience with incident/change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
  • Understanding of QA and testing processes for mainframe applications.
