A global leader in software-connected automated test and measurement systems is seeking an experienced DfM Technical Lead to join its team. This organization specializes in delivering innovative solutions for electronics manufacturing, empowering engineers worldwide to accelerate productivity and improve product performance. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping highly manufacturable product designs, with a strong emphasis on PCB design. You will collaborate closely with R&D and cross‑functional teams to influence design, manufacturing, and test strategies, ensuring alignment with cutting‑edge factory capabilities and future technology directions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive DfM analysis to identify and mitigate manufacturing challenges early in the design phase.
  • Develop and maintain DfM guidelines and checklists, ensuring adherence across projects.
  • Collaborate with designers and manufacturing teams to drive design improvements for manufacturability.
  • Lead cost‑reduction initiatives by eliminating inefficiencies in design and production.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product development teams on DfM‑related matters.
  • Influence manufacturing capabilities by integrating insights from R&D product roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance reviews and lessons learned.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with deep knowledge of product development phases.
  • Proven expertise in DfM principles, particularly PCB design.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to navigate complex trade‑offs and gain alignment.
  • Ability to work independently in a global, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Subject matter expertise in PCB DfM.
