Job summary

Responsibilities

• Independently undertake design assignments.

• Assist team leader in production of design and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with internal departments for design consistency.
• Engage with Consultants and Contractors to resolve design issues.
• Produce Design Development, Tender, and Construction Drawings.
• Review and respond to Shop Drawings and RFIs.

KL Pavilion Design Studio is looking for experienced design architects who can pair creative and leadership skills effectively. This is a role for passionate, visionary individuals who can rise to the occasion in tandem with the heights KL Pavilion Design Studio will venture into in the coming years.

The projects the individual will be involved in demand no less, as you will be realising the landmarks of tomorrow's Kuala Lumpur. Together with an award-winning team, you will bring creative masterpieces to life be they high-end retail, hospitality, commercial or residential projects. Excellent communication skills and a sound understanding of stakeholder management are highly-desirable.

These projects will elevate the landscape of the nation's capital and are bound to be considered for a variety of awards given the aspirations of the Studio and its clients.

• To independently undertake design assignments.
• To take client design brief and obtain sign off.
• To assist team leader in production of design, sketches and presentation materials.
• Coordinating with internal office department to ensure design language is consistent and compatible.
• Assist team leader in coordinating on design coordination meetings.
• To coordinate with other Consultants, Main Contractor and other parties to solve design related issues.
• Produce Design Development Drawings, Tender Drawings and Construction Drawings.
• To review and to reply to Shop Drawings, Request for Information (RFI) independently.
• Good knowledge and understanding of building materials.

Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent.

Minimum five (5) years of working experience.

Experienced in commercial, residential, retail and high rise development.

Understand and knowledgeable in statutory requirements.
