Job summary

Job description

Team Leadership: Supervise Public Area Attendants, assign daily work schedules, and ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of all public areas, corridors, and service areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentability.

Training & Development: Monitor staff performance, provide on-the-job training, and mentor team members for career growth.

Operational Management: Manage housekeeping supplies, conduct inventory checks, and ensure all cleaning equipment/trolleys are well-stocked and maintained.

Reporting: Maintain the Housekeeping Supervisor Daily Report and ensure seamless shift handovers.

Asset Care: Oversee the maintenance of furniture, fixtures, and equipment in all public spaces.

Guest Service: Efficiently handle lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in Hotel Housekeeping, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior role.

Leadership: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and train a diverse team.

Detail-Oriented: A "keen eye" for cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining high aesthetic standards.

Communication: Good communication skills for team coordination and reporting.

Flexibility: Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Educational Background
  • Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or related field.
  • SPM or equivalent may be accepted with strong relevant experience.
  • Additional certifications in Housekeeping Operations, Safety & Hygiene, or Supervisory Skills are an advantage.
