Company and Job Overview
A leading manufacturing company based in Kuantan, Pahang is seeking a Cybersecurity & Network Engineer to join their dynamic team.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing security procedures and guidelines, applying robust security measures across systems and networks, managing network monitoring software to ensure optimal performance, administering and maintaining Windows Servers on Azure, and creating and maintaining comprehensive server and network diagrams.

Job Responsibilities

• Security Governance: Develop and maintain security procedures, guidelines, and patch/vulnerability management programs to ensure compliance and system integrity.
• Security Implementation & Assessment: Implement security controls, perform regular audits, and collaborate with teams to align security measures with business needs.
• Network Monitoring & Analysis: Manage and configure network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix) for real-time visibility, incident detection, and traffic analysis in partnership with vendors.
• Infrastructure Documentation: Create and update detailed network diagrams to accurately represent infrastructure for troubleshooting and audits.
• Server & Incident Management: Administer Windows servers on Azure, support backup systems (Veeam), assist in incident response planning, and provide corrective actions during security events.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in cybersecurity, network engineering, and Windows Server administration.
  Professional certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT infrastructure design.
• Hands‑on experience with network monitoring tools, security technologies, and managing Windows servers on Azure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 digitization tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
