A logistics company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a professional to manage sales leads and oversee logistics operations. Responsibilities include securing new customers, coordinating transportation shipments, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales and logistics, strong financial skills, and the ability to prepare business reports. Proactively approach and secure new potential customers through various channels.
Manage and convert sales leads provided by the overseas team.
Conduct sales presentations and introduce Cstar’s services to the local market.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of clients.
Hands‑on management of end‑to‑end airfreight, ocean freight, and land transportation shipments.
Source, qualify, and manage local service vendors (carriers, customs broker, trucking companies, warehouses, etc.) to ensure competitive rates and reliable service for import, export, and domestic logistics.
Coordinate and oversee all shipment operations, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
Develop and offer value‑added services based on market demand.
Act as the primary point of contact for all country‑specific matters.
Utilize strong financial acumen to handle customer billing, cost control, and accurate profit calculation for every shipment.
Prepare regular business reports for the Global Director.
Lay the foundation for future team growth as the business expands.
