Job Overview

The Core Network Engineer will be a key member of our dynamic Core Network Team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure high levels of availability and security. This role will collaborate with various departments to develop and deploy scalable and efficient network solutions aligning with the company’s strategic objectives in Connectivity, Cloud, and Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Network Design and Deployment
  • Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure and services ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Perform network capacity planning and management to ensure adequate resources.
  • Support the rollout and integration of new network technologies and services.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Collaboration and Support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide network solutions aligning with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
  • Work closely with vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality network services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.
• Monitoring and Optimization
  • Monitor network performance and integrity, resolving issues proactively.
  • Conduct network assessments and recommend improvements or optimizations.
  • Measure and monitor current utilization against SLA and drive to continuously improve processes and performances towards interval, quality, and cost metrics.
• Compliance and Security
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Implement network security measures and policies to safeguard the network.
  • Conduct regular network audits and compliance checks.
  • Support compliance certification processes for PCI-DSS and ISMS.
