A legal firm in Malaysia seeks a qualified solicitor to prepare and draft commercial agreements, advise on financing documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of post-qualification experience and must be fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu. Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous. This role involves liaising with clients and authorities to facilitate the execution of agreements and performing other legal work as assigned.
Prepare, draft, review, and finalise commercial agreements including sale and purchase of Property agreements, lease agreements and etc.
Prepare, draft, review, and finalise financing documentation and advise the financial institutions and their customers on the disbursement of the financing facilities.
Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and the relevant authorities to ensure compliance with financial institutions' requirements as well as regulatory requirements, where applicable.
Facilitate the execution of agreements and financing documentation, including attending to the signing/execution process.
Other conveyancing works, and any other legal works to be assigned by the firm from time to time.
(Able to write and speak in Mandarin is an advantage)
LLB and/or qualified solicitor with at least 1- 2 years of post-qualification experience.
Independent, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command of writing and fluent speaking in both English and Bahasa Melayu.
