A global leader in polymer-based product solutions, serving industries such as medical technology, telecommunications, automotive, and consumer electronics is seeking a Converting Process Engineer to develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct feasibility assessments and validate new product processes for technical and cost viability.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
Verify tooling drawings and process parameters for compliance with design standards.
Resolve technical issues during new product testing and implement corrective actions.
Evaluate test results, provide feedback, and drive process optimization across teams.
Lead development of new processes, focusing on die‑cut assembly and screen printing.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering; die‑cut or screen‑printing experience preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of ISO9001/IATF16949 standards.
Skilled in process analysis tools (Fishbone Diagram, 5‑Why Analysis).
Strong hands‑on ability, problem‑solving skills, and proactive work attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin preferred.
