A construction management firm in Shah Alam is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 4-6 years of relevant experience in construction projects. Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Contract Management or equivalent
Minimum 4–6 years relevant working experience in construction projects
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (PAM / JKR / CIDB – added advantage)
Good negotiation, analytical and commercial skills
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills
Proficient in MS Excel and relevant QS / contract software
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Manage and oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects
Prepare, review and administer main contracts, subcontracts and consultancy agreements
Manage tender processes including evaluation, clarification and award recommendations
Handle progress claims, interim payments, variation orders (VO), EOT and final accounts
Monitor project budget, cost control, cash flow and financial performance
Identify, assess and manage contractual and commercial risks
Advise project teams on contractual obligations, rights and entitlements
Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on contractual, claims and commercial matters
Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions and statutory requirements
Prepare monthly cost reports, financial forecasts and management reports
Maintain proper contract documentation, correspondence and records
Support dispute resolution, claims negotiations and settlement where required
