Job summary

A construction management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to assist in Commercial & Contract matters throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying and have a strong understanding of contract principles. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in Commercial & Contract matters throughout project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Review cost estimations and budget forecasts.

Job description

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Contract principles, with a passion for exposure in different construction projects. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or someone with 1 year of quantity surveying / contract management experience looking to grow their career in the construction industry.

Job Responsibility

Assist in Commercial & Contract matters during whole project life cycle.

Ensure compliance with Standard of Procedures (SOPs).

Assist in review of cost estimation, comparative cost studies, budget, expenditures, cost forecast and financial s-curve.

Strategically negotiate, collaborate and liaise with all stakeholders.

Assist in contract administration and management including handling contract disputes, claims and variations.

Attend to site for valuation, meeting or tender matters.

Assist in Purchasing matters.

Job Requirements

Be a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying.

Candidates with at least 1 year of working experience in consultant firm / developer are preferred.

Fresh graduates with prior internship experience in consultant firm / developer are welcomed to apply.

Skilled in BIM & Common Data Environment will be added advantage.
