Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Consular Executive to support the Director in handling consular operations and liaising with local authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director in handling consular cases and liaising with local authorities.
  • Respond to consular-related enquiries via walk-ins, phone calls, and emails.
  • Handle, monitor, and track all ICA (Immigration & Checkpoints Authority) related applications.
  • Assist the Director in providing notarial services.
  • Account for daily revenue collected and hand over for safekeeping or bank deposit.
  • Maintain and update Mission’s list of prisoners; organize and conduct regular prison visits.
  • Maintain consular, visa, and notarial service-related statistics.
  • Develop and maintain the Mission’s list of regional consular contacts with Johor ground agencies (e.g., Immigration checkpoints, hospitals, police stations, medical service providers).
  • Assist in visa processing and liaise with Appointed Visa Agents (AVAs), including conducting scheduled audits.
  • Answer and direct general phone enquiries to the relevant departments.
  • Assist the Director in facilitating clearances at CIQs (Checkpoints).
  • Perform any other administrative duties as directed and provide coverage for other LRS (Local Registry Services) duties as needed.
Job Requirements
  • SPM with 8 years’ experience, or Diploma with 5 years’ experience, or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Mature, professional, and possesses good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work overtime, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays (including Hari Raya).
  • Willing and able to travel for work.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
