About the role:

To see the project cycle through from start to finish, including:

  • Build business cases leveraging internal data, secondary research and advanced quantitative and qualitative modelling. Assist research and analysis team to digestible and ultimately transformed into a strategic narrative for both internal and external review
  • Monitor local and overseas charts, trends, cycles and incorporate into artist/project strategies in a best practice manner.
  • Understand the behavior of the market and action plans through the power of data. In-depth knowledge of analytics, reports, social tools. Provides information through collection of campaigns, trends and research.
  • Strategic plans and reviews with action plans, resolving problems, implementation of productions, productivity and goal targets to meet campaign & operational objectives.
  • Assist to oversee and complete the project cycle from start to finish mainly for all Regional Repertoire (Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia) releases. Manage all marketing campaigns and ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Assist to develop and execute e-commerce revenue strategic plans to deliver budgeted revenue, growth and profitability across D2C platforms through understanding and leveraging partner landscape, objectives and capabilities.
  • Work with key stakeholders – A&R, Labels, Management, Promotions and Business Development to achieve marketing and financial objectives.
  • Creative thinking and ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical and business problems.

Media & Creative Agency

  • Work closely with multiple creative/media agencies in driving through the marketing communication strategies and creative visuals for campaigns
  • Ensure creative/media agencies understand the marketing messages and campaign objectives
  • Know artist/project audience and the most effective communication outreach
  • Ensure the marketing plan drives the return on investment (ROI)

Radio, Media & Artist Relations

  • Work and build excellent communications and rapport with the Radio, Media & Artist Relations Teams.
  • Ensure artists achieve appropriate profile across all media platforms.
  • Partner with and ensure the Media teams are in alignment on the marketing plans and campaign objectives for all key projects and provide all necessary platforms/tools in a timely fashion to achieve the desired outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of the music business, the market and our position therein
  • Commercial understanding of UMA and the functionality of all its divisions specifically in relation to their marketing requirements.
  • Excellent understanding of marketing and consumer behaviour
  • Excellent understanding of social networking, new technologies and sales opportunities.
  • Positive engagement with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for accountable employees
  • Regularly review reports progress and advise, develop accordingly
  • Excellent communication, time management & diplomacy skills
