Job summary

A global digital experience provider is looking for a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves provisioning and maintaining customers’ cloud environments, troubleshooting issues, and supporting on-premise Sitecore products. Candidates should have at least 2 years of client technical support experience, along with knowledge of cloud administration, application security, and database systems. The position requires participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation and maintaining the highest level of security for client data.

About the Role / The Opportunity

Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world. To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we’re looking for a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer with a solid background in Computer Science, with CMS knowledge and Cloud administration experience, to join our Managed Services team.

What You’ll Do

• Provision, support and maintain our customer's cloud and on-premise environments and Sitecore products
• Implement and maintain tools for monitoring and operations
• Implement and maintain tools for logging and reporting
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in non-production and production environments
• Respond to service disruptions while maintaining SLA uptime
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation along with our other engineers. Will need to carry laptop when on-call and have internet and phone access
• Proactive monitoring to ensure that issues are being identified and addressed in real-time
• Implement and maintain the highest level of security standard and ensure client data integrity
• Collaborate with customers and engineering for new release planning
• Develop and maintain documentation on operational procedure
• Automate and streamline production operations and processes (PowerShell/MS runbook)
• Execute scheduled maintenance and optimization services
• Assist in infrastructure design, estimating, and communicating with clients and prospects

What You Need to Succeed

• At least 2 years of client technical support experience
• Infrastructure, network and application security knowledge
• Knowledge of Sitecore, Adobe, Wordpress or other CMS
• Experience with Load Balancing Solutions
• Excellent command of English and communication skills
• Azure / Cloud administration experience, including scripting and automation
• Database knowledge in MySQL, MS SQL, MongoDB
• The role requires delivering operational duties via a 24 x 7 shift operation
