POSITION: CLINICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST BASED IN PENANG

Job Summary:

To provide technical support to physicians during device implant, clinic follow up session and assist sales team to ensure customer sales cycle is complete.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical service and patient follow-up to external customers.
  • Provide training to cardiac technicians, referral doctors, healthcare workers and team members.
  • Assist team member to conduct CME product in-service to current and potential customers.
  • Manage consignment stocks in assigned territories.
  • Prepare quotation & etc. upon request.
  • Assist team member to ensure customer sales cycle is complete.
  • Obtain market intelligence such as competitor product, pricing, market share, marketing program etc.
  • Understand local government healthcare policy and market trends.
  • Handle and process customer complaints in a timely manner and in accordance to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in clinical research, when necessary.
Other Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as back-up for other team members.
  • To be on call rotation for emergency/ follow-up cases during weekends or after office hours.
  • Handle and process customer complaints in timely manner and according to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute the job responsibilities applicable to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the company.
  • Perform other related functions and responsibilities assigned by manager or supervisor.
Job Requirements:
  1. Minimum 1-2 years working experience preferably in medical device sales/hospital working environment.
  2. Medical sales, hospital staffs preferably with experience working in Invasive Catheterization Lab (ICL/Cathlab) or Operating Theatre (OT) will have added advantage.
  3. Highly committed and passionate to help others especially patients to make impact in their lives.
  4. Candidate with sales experience can be considered.
  5. Responsible and take pride and ownership.
  6. Must possess own transport and have a valid driving license.
  7. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.

Required language(s): English (written and spoken) used in training and all aspect of daily activities. Bahasa Malaysia and other languages will be an added advantage to communicate with end users.

Highly Preferred Skill(s): Sales, Medical Device, Pharmaceuticals. Preferably Executive specialized in Biomedical or equivalent.
