Responsibilities

• Clinical Psychologist in healthcare facility is required to provide behavioral science and health-related services.
• Clinical Psychologist is required to perform psychological assessments and properly diagnose existing or potential disorders.
• Clinical Psychologist should also be able to consult patients and develop effective psychological treatment plans.
• Clinical Psychologist should be able to remain calm and collected under stressful situation, such as crisis intervention.
• Clinical Psychologist should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable working with colleagues from different disciplines.

Requirements

• Post-graduate Degree or Master Degree in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained oversea).
• Significant supervised clinical psychology practice experience by suitably qualified Clinical Psychologist.
• Ability to exercise full clinical responsibility for patients’ psychological care and treatment, both as an independent practitioner and also within the context of multi-disciplinary care plan.
• A high level ability of communicate effectively at both a written and oral level complex, highly technical and clinically sensitive information to patients, their families, carers, and a wide range of lay and professional persons within and outside OMSMC.
• Skills in providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups.
• Required languages fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (if preferred).
• At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
