Job description

Responsibilities

1. Electrical installations and repairs - Responsible for Operation & supervising the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in the factory.
2. Conducting inspections and tests - Carry out routine inspections and tests of electrical equipment and systems to identify faults or potential issues.
3. Ensuring compliance - Ensure that all electrical equipment and systems in the factory comply with relevant safety standards and regulations, and maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance work.
4. Reading technical diagrams and blueprints: Must be able to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints in order to understand how to assemble the equipment or machinery they are working on and assembling various components of the equipment or machinery they are working on.
5. Testing equipment and machinery - Responsible for testing the equipment and machinery to ensure that it is functioning correctly and efficiently. This may involve running tests, adjusting settings, and making any necessary repairs.
6. Safety compliance - To adhere to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. This includes the standards procedure, using personal protective equipment and conducting safety checks on equipment. The candidate also required to participate in safety training programs and provide recommendations for improving safety measures.
7. Quality Control - To conduct quality checks on the electrical and mechanical components or product during the manufacturing process. The candidate must ensure that the systems or products meet the required specifications and perform tests to verify their functionality and reliability.
8. Documentation and reporting - To maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and equipment performance. Document need to be documented, any issues encountered, the proper action should be taken to resolve the issues and required recommendation for improvement.
9. Collaboration - To collaborate with other members of the production teams including engineer, supervisor and operators. The candidate required to provide technical support and coordinate repair or maintenance activities to minimize disruption to the production process.

Education and Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or 1 year of working experience specializing in Maintenance and Repair (Facility and Machinery)
• Knowledge in Electric Supply Act, Electricity Regulations is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
