Job summary

A global food and beverage company is seeking a strategic and experienced Category Manager to lead supply chain transformation from their Malaysia Hub in Kuala Lumpur. The candidate will drive demand and supply planning, optimize costs, and lead a multinational team while enhancing stakeholder relationships. With over 9 years of experience in demand/supply planning and leadership, you will shape supply chain strategies in a dynamic and innovative environment. Fluency in English and/or a Chinese dialect is advantageous.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Are you a strategic supply chain leader ready to drive transformation across a global network? Nestrade S.A., a Nestlé entity, is seeking a Category Manager to lead our category planning team from our Malaysia Hub.

About the Role

This leadership position is at the heart of our Planning Service Center, responsible for driving customer‑centric supply planning, optimizing Total Delivered Cost (TDC), and ensuring seamless operations across markets and factories. You’ll lead a multinational team, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead demand and supply planning across the category, ensuring product availability and cost efficiency
  • Drive improvements in Demand Planning Accuracy (DPA) and forecast alignment
  • Manage allocation and contingency sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations
  • Develop talent and build a robust succession pipeline
  • Support new business models and channel strategies
What We’re Looking For
  • 9+ years in demand/supply planning, with deep E2E supply chain knowledge
  • 5+ years in people management with a proven leadership track record
  • Experience in process optimization and strategic decision‑making
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Economics
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • Fluency in English and/or Chinese dialect is an added advantage.
