Job description

The Cargo Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all cargo sales and operational activities for Turkish Cargo . This role involves effective contract management, driving revenue growth through innovative sales strategy while ensuring operational excellence

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve Turkish Airline's revenue targets and objectives.
  • Close monitoring of Guaranteed revenue performance and recommend adjustments to pricing or sales strategies as needed.
  • Develop strategies to increase cargo volumes and improve load factors on key routes.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the cargo product portfolio, including specialized services like e-commerce, pharma logistics, and perishables.
  • Ensure seamless cargo handling operations in compliance with Turkish Airline standards.
  • Address operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor revenue and expense performance against targets, ensuring profitability.
  • Prepare and present weekly reports on sales performance, market analysis, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with finance team to ensure accurate billing and reconciliation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in air cargo sales and operations, with at least 5–8 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of air freight markets, pricing strategies, and cargo handling procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in using cargo management systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
