  • Analyse and select compelling assortments within your assigned categories / activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our brand partners.
  • Sales performance tracking for selected category assigned and take proactive action on underperforming products through markdowns, or promotions, and over performing products through daily business.
  • Monitor and ensure on‑time delivery of stocks from suppliers.
  • Monitor weekly trade performance and stock health; and sell‑through targets by category and brand.
  • Identify white‑space opportunities and drive product innovation.
  • Negotiate cost prices, margin improvements, trading terms, and exclusivity opportunities with our brand partners.
  • Code creation, issue PO & update Delivery Plan to make sure the systems are always up to date.
  • Sourcing for potential brand or supplier, evaluate and propose for the business.
  • Participate in seasonal sell‑in and buying appointments with suppliers and brands.
  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to ensure assortments remain relevant and competitive.
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising, E‑commerce, and Marketing to ensure alignment across channels.
  • Work with Planning and Allocation teams to optimise distribution strategies and store grading.
  • Work closely with Store Operations to understand customer feedback and regional needs.
  • Any other lawful assignments as and when assigned by the Head of HR & higher management.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years experience in retail buying/merchandising, preferable from the sports retail industry is desirable.
  • Applicants from Fashion & Merchandising, Fashion Design, Business Management, Marketing, Economics / Finance, Supply Chain Management / Logistics are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Good analytic capability and number sensitive.
  • Knowledge in MS Excel.
  • Good time management skills and deadline sensitive.
  • A real passion for retail & able to spot customer trends.
