Duties and Responsibilities

Business Manager is responsible for strategizing, planning, and managing key accounts and new business, driving financial growth for the company. They are highly motivated and are involved in building and leading a strong team.

Summary of Principal Job Responsibility & Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Strategic and integrated marketeer (ATL to Digital to On Ground Activation).
  • To work closely with GBD to meet Revenue Target & Net Sales set by senior management.
  • Outstanding client service & relationship building abilities. Able to engage large and small accounts.
  • Strong People Manager skills.
  • Strong attention to details and has high standards in delivering quality outcomes.
  • Able to drive creative briefs efficiently to generate the best output.
  • Independent, able to direct & manage accounts/clients from planning to execution.
  • Lead pitches & support Business Development.
  • Responsible for new business opportunities and driving growth for the account.
  • Drive the business development process, including identifying and qualifying initial opportunities, managing the proposal/tender stages, negotiating contract terms and closing contracts.
  • Ideally should come with some existing business.
  • Work closely with GDB to discuss account status, issues, & action plans.
  • Work closely with senior management on potential business opportunity in the market.
Job Requirement
  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma / Advance Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Marketing or equivalent.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in ATL, BTL, Digital, Social and Retail/Shopper activation roles.
  • Meticulous and have a good sense of business acumen.
  • Process driven and had the agency’s interest at heart.
  • Independent & confident in meeting clients.
  • Able to lead by example, maintain good spirits and contribute to team morale.
  • Experience working with large budgets and high-profile accounts.
  • Confident in pitching techniques and experience taking sole responsibility for projects.
  • Adaptable to new environments and work processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good at prioritizing & multi-tasking.
  • Results‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Self‑motivated, willing to learn, able to work independently and possesses a positive mental attitude.
  • Able to present effectively to different management levels (internal and/or external).
  • Taking ownership of accounts and providing effective solutions to situations.
