Job summary

A leading pet supply company located in Malaysia, is looking for a Business Development Executive for their Nourish Pet Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and promoting the pet food supply business across various channels such as pet shops and supermarkets. Key responsibilities include building client relationships, achieving sales targets, and managing performance. Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, and be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Possess a valid driving license for travel.

Business Development Executive (Nourish Pet Division)

Responsible to develop, promote and penetrate pet food supply business according to state and area, which includes pet shops, supermarkets, veterinary clinics and petrol stations, etc.

Responsible to developing new client accounts and exploring new areas.

Maintaining a customer's sales performance, debtor ageing, and planning for client growth in his or her team territory.

Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Achieve his/ her KPI, include sales target, budget, debtors aging, market share etc.

Monitor, feedback competitor’s activities, and act effectively to increase and protect the market share.

Ensure customers debtors aging is within company target.

Work closely with the sales administration and finance teams to resolve any invoice, payment and client issues.

Assess market demand and supply condition to forecast and allocate stock for his/her client to avoid stock supply shortages, expired products, and overstock.

Any other task assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirement

Minimum 3 years related experience in Sales, Business Development and Key Account management.

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, marketing or equivalent.

Computer literate with strong presentation, analytical skill and result driven.

Possess valid driving license and able to travel outstation.

Able to write in good English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Additional skills in written / spoken Mandarin language is an added advantage to communicate with our overseas suppliers / vendors or customers.
