  • Provide technical guidance and support to farmers.
  • Conduct field visits to monitor product performance.

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive – Agriculture to drive sales and market penetration of agrochemical products, including crop protection and plant nutrition solutions. The role combines technical agronomy knowledge with commercial acumen to provide value-driven solutions to farmers, dealers, and distributors.

Responsibilities
  • Commercial Responsibilities:
    • Drive sales growth by promoting agrochemical products (e.g., herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, bio-stimulants).
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers and farmers in the agriculture value chain.
    • Identify new business opportunities and assist in expanding market coverage.
    • Execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
  • Technical Responsibilities:
    • Provide technical guidance and support to farmers, including product recommendations, crop advisory, and demonstration plots.
    • Conduct field visits to monitor product performance and gather feedback.
    • Deliver product training and technical presentations to dealers, growers, and internal teams.
    • Assist in addressing product complaints or performance issues through field trials or investigations.
  • Reporting & Administration:
    • Prepare weekly and monthly customer feedback reports, field activity updates, and market intelligence summaries.
    • Monitor competitor activity and report on market trends.
    • Maintain proper documentation related to demos, trials, events, and promotional activities.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field.
