Job Descriptions
- Conduct regular visits to stationery outlets in Klang Valley and outstation areas to monitor product display/stock levels/brand presence, gather market intelligence on stock movement, and encourage inventory replenishment and sales orders through Distributor.
- Perform bi-weekly outlet inventory checks and update Distributor to promote timely restocking.
- Regularly visit each store to review performance and take orders where applicable.
- Receive and present new product samples from overseas suppliers to Distributor and collect feedback.
- Support and coordinate with Distributor and other dealers to increase order volumes.
- Propose practical ideas to improve sales performance with minimal additional investment (e.g., display improvement, promotional material, or bundling ideas).
- Able to turn ideas into simple pilot actions, measure results, and expand effective initiatives to achieve higher sales.
- Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis to identify sales opportunities.
- Prepare proposals and monthly reports to management on outlet performance, sales trends, and suggestions for improvement.
- Justify sales performance based on outlet data, comparing results with targets and previous periods.
- Work closely with management to develop low-cost, high-impact sales strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of field sales, B2B sales, merchandising, or dealer management experience.
- Strong analytical and observation skills, able to identify market trends and performance issues.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship management skills.
- Able to travel within Klang Valley and West Malaysia by own car.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Preferred
- Background with stationary/retail industry preferred.
Working hours
Monday to Friday - Flexible (Core time is 10:30 to 16:00 must be in office)
