Job Details

We are currently looking for a Business Data Analyst for an iconic Malaysian heritage FMCG brand. This is a high-visibility role sitting directly within the Strategy Office, bridging the gap between raw data and business decision-making, which requires your urgent attention.

• Reporting to: CEO office
• Team size: Work cross-departmentally with HoDs
• Join a world-renowned FMCG leader to drive excellence across their nationwide commercial functions.

Responsibilities

• Make sense of data from across the business — ranging from Sales and Commercial figures to operations uncovering actionable insights.
• Design and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI, Sage, and Excel, visualizing complex data for senior leadership.
• Produce high-quality executive decks and reports to support the CEO office in strategic planning and ad-hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with HODs across departments to identify data gaps, unlock commercial opportunities, and drive business performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Business Management, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent.
• Technical proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel is essential; knowledge of Sage or other analytics tools is an added advantage.
• A professional who understands "Business vs. Data" — not just a number cruncher (not a Finance role), but someone who understands the commercial context behind the trends.
