A respected hospitality establishment in Johor Bahru is looking for a Maintenance Officer to ensure all maintenance tasks are handled promptly and efficiently. The candidate will conduct regular checks on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, maintain cleanliness, and manage maintenance supplies. This role requires dedication to operational excellence and a proactive approach to facility upkeep, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance is preferred.

Job description

General Duties :
a. To ensure that all maintenance matters are immediately attended to when required.
b. To carry out the duties in a skilful manners.
c. To produce relevant advise and recommendations for improvement
d. To assist in general maintenance of the building
Specific Duties :
a. To be fully responsible for Maintenance of the building in the areas of speciality assigning task.
b. To conducts periodic checks on all electrical, mechanical plumbing, air – conditioning and other appliances (where applicable) in the building to ensure that these items are in perfect operational conditions.
c. To maintain and control the maintenance store and submit monthly report on the stock control.
d. To ensure all firefighting and control appliances in the park are in good operational condition
e. To carry out the necessary preparations for the daily routine works
f. To maintain the cleanliness / tidiness of all areas especially maintenance areas.
g. To give priorities in the handling of urgent areas of concerned.
h. To carry our periodical checks on all slide installation e.g bolts, nuts, foundations etc
i. To periodically check the pressure gauges on the water filter for any variation from the normal range and take necessary actions.
