A medical technology company is seeking a Biomedical Engineer based in Klang Valley to install and service medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electronics, bioengineering or equivalent, and proven experience in troubleshooting and evaluating medical diagnostics devices. Job description

Biomedical Engineer (based in Klang Valley)

Position based in HQ at Klang Valley (Kota Damansara, PJ)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install medical device at respective sites and ensure high functionality of the device.
• Conduct and perform T&C & EST for assets installations in hospital setup.
• Service the medical device following the PPM schedule and checklist, maintain good and traceable service report.
• Offering after-sales support services by assisting to upgrade software to the latest version when available, repair any breakdown mechanical parts of the medical device and so on.
• In charged of the company’s “Call Centre Hotline” by answering calls and providing prompt responses to callers, even after working hours and weekends.
• Attend to troubleshooting calls by clients, troubleshooting any problem/alarm of the medical device within 4 to 6 hours and provide backup plan if problem persists.
• Maintain the highest standard of personal conduct and provide professional service while interacting with clients.
• Assist sales team in negotiating tenders and contracts’ terms and condition that is agreeable by the company and client.
• Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events/activities as needed by the company.
• Attend sales & service training conducted by principal.
• Providing training and producing technical material for both sales team and customer.

Other Requirements:

• Degree in electronics/electronic engineering/bioengineering and have experience in troubleshooting, evaluating the performance, installing and servicing of medical diagnostics device.
• Travelling across states in Malaysia is a requirement for this position. Travelling expenses are covered by the Company.
