Job summary

A leading construction technology firm is seeking a BIM Manager to oversee project coordination and collaboration using Building Information Modeling tools. You will manage a BIM team, ensuring efficient data exchange with stakeholders, and develop BIM standards across projects in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years of experience in the construction or engineering industry, along with proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. This contract position is for a duration of 12 months.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction methods and project workflows.

Job description

Responsibilities

Oversee the coordination, data exchange, and collaboration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) with project stakeholders.

Prepare technical drawings, coordinate CSD drawings, and ensure proper documentation.

Utilize BIM for the creation of shop drawings and related documentation.

Produce and review construction shop drawings and as-built documents.

Coordinate and communicate effectively with construction project stakeholders.

Develop and enforce BIM standards, processes, and templates across projects in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore.

Manage BIM team activities, including model coordination, clash detection, and resolving technical issues as a BIM Manager.

Conduct training and provide guidance to project teams to ensure optimal use of BIM tools.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align BIM goals with project objectives.

Evaluate BIM project progress, reporting to leadership on performance and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a BIM Modeller in the construction or engineering industry
• Proficient in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and project workflows
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in model creation and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
