The role requires a degree in Business, Engineering or Transportation along with 6 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management. Successful candidates will oversee shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations ensuring efficient material flow.

Overview

Job Characteristics: Directs and coordinates material handling activities, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Prepares schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. This role will be responsible for a small site, central/corporate team or small country, satellite warehouse or continuous improvement activities. Less than 1MIO USD annual Logistics budget

Education & Experience
  • Degree in Business, Engineering or Transportation and 6 years experience.
  • Broad experience of general plant operations, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control systems and controls.
Independence Level / Reports to

Manager on site requires medium managerial/supervisory support from Manager. Manager not on site can work with regular communications with Manager via phone & e-mail - communicates directly with local sales force and Mgmt. Normally reports to Logistics Manager III or VP/Director Logistics.
