Ansell is looking for a Assistant Manager, HR to join our team in Cyberjaya.
In this position you will play a vital role in developing, planning and executing initiatives in line with the company’s HR related development efforts. This position will also work closely with all HR members, various departments in the Ansell sites across Malaysia primarily and other sites around the world on specific projects, to drive and manage activities that will contribute towards building a sustainable, socially responsible, caring and inclusive culture within the company.

Role
What your role will be?
Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Director Human Resources, you will have the opportunity to :
- Assist the HR Country Lead in developing and coordinating HR programs and activities that need to be rolled out at the different sites independently.
- Leading or supporting company's HR initiatives in the sites and building relationships with key stakeholders and community partners (where applicable)
- Staying abreast of relevant research, trends in the areas of focus and promoting best practices
- Collecting data, analyzing information, conducting research, and recommending appropriate solutions where required.
- Auditing the practices, processes and procedures from time to time they are ethical, sustainable and aligned with the objectives of the company.
- Conducting research, presenting ideas, creating detailed plans, and then implementing and coordinating activities and initiatives which have a positive impact on the people and the planet.
- Partnering with CSR Lead and Specialist at all MY Mfg Sites and support with any MY wide programs as well as conducting periodic reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness.
- Evaluating CSR and other initiatives against industry standards; analyzing results and recommending the necessary action plans.
- Assist in developing strategies and materials for the communication of related initiatives to all internal and external audiences with appropriate approvals beforehand.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned including but not limited to any company-initiated integration, MY wide process alignment, be the focal contact person for any HR related system upgrade, enhancement and other. Leading or supporting any HR related activities at other manufacturing site within Malaysia, as and when needed.
Qualifications
What will you bring to Ansell?
- Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years working experience within a similar role.
- Well verse in Malaysia Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to condense complex information into simple messages and concise communication materials.
- Able to work independently as well as within a team with minimal guidance and adapt to a challenging working environment
- Basic knowledge of the rules and regulations governing local and foreign workers and best practices for CSR will be an advantage.
- Skilled in managing relationships, networks and teams that include a diverse group of people.
- Proven effectiveness in thriving in complex multi-stakeholder planning processes and cross-team projects to desired results.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel is required, and knowledge of Power BI will and added advantage.
