Assistant Vice President, Vendor and Contract Management

Responsible for overseeing the operations of the Bank’s vendor relationships. This includes creating and implementing policies and procedures for managing vendor relationships, as well as maintaining records of these relationships. Additionally, the vendor management person may be responsible for conducting due diligence on potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and monitoring vendor performance. The process of establishing, managing, and overseeing relationships with suppliers. Vendors are responsible for providing goods and services on time, within budget, and meeting the quality and safety standards of the organization.

Vendor Management and Contract Management

Responsible for overseeing the Bank’s outsourcing arrangement. This includes review the outsourcing checklist submitted, liaison with Group Risk Management and Group Compliance on the materiality of the proposed outsourcing management.

Annual review and update the outsourcing register and perform the gap analysis when necessary.

Developing and sustaining long‑standing relationships with company‑approved vendors.

Meeting with suitable vendors to access their products, inquiries about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service‑related concern.

Conducting research on available vendor to determine which vendor offer the best pricing and product quality.

Continue monitoring the overall cost saving initiative.

Ensure the vendor selection are in accordance with the Bank’s policy.

Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendor on their responsivity and obligation.

Establishing Standards by which to access the performance of the approved vendors.

Evaluating current vendor management program and identifying ways to improve it.

Outsourcing Management

Outsourcing arrangement gap analysis.

To ensure all outsourcing arrangement approving process are follow Kenanga Investment Bank and BNM guideline.

Review and update the service agreement of all outsourcing arrangement.

To review and check all the outsourcing arrangement submitted.

To liaise with Group Risk Management and Group Compliance on the outsourcing arrangement.

To perform annual review and gap analysis of all existing outsourcing arrangement.

To update the outsourcing plan and register as per BNM Policy and Guidelin

Requirements
  • Degree holder (or Diploma with minimum 5 years’ experience may apply)
