Job Summary

Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager / Management in supervising daily sales operations while assisting in improving sales performance, team effectiveness and KPI achievement. This role focuses on execution, supervision, reporting and continuous improvement, acting as a bridge between Management, Sales and Operations teams.

1. Sales Operations & SOP Supervision

• Supervise daily sales activities to ensure smooth execution and SOP compliance

• Monitor sales workflow, follow-ups, documentation and system updates

• Ensure sales staff follow approved sales processes, scripts and reporting standards

• Identify execution gaps, delays, or non-compliance and report to Management

• Assist in handling sales-related customer inquiries or first-level escalations

2. Team Supervision, Discipline & Performance Control

• Supervise sales team attendance, punctuality, discipline, and daily reporting

• Monitor individual and team performance against assigned KPIs

• Provide on-the-job guidance, reminders, and basic coaching to improve execution

• Assist Management in probation monitoring, performance reviews, and corrective actions

• Support the development of a disciplined, professional, and performance-driven sales team

3. Sales Reporting & KPI Tracking

• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for Management

• Track key sales metrics such as conversion rate, follow-up rate, and close rate

• Highlight performance gaps, risks, and underperformance early

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data and documentation

4. Coordination with Operations Team

• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth sales-to-operation handover

• Monitor unit readiness, repair status, and delivery timelines affecting sales

• Ensure sales commitments align with operational capacity

• Flag operational issues that may impact sales performance

5. Sales Improvement, Brainstorming & Growth Support

• Assist the Sales Manager in brainstorming and testing new sales approaches, scripts, or workflows

• Contribute ideas to improve sales conversion, follow-up quality, and customer handling

• Support initiatives to strengthen sales discipline, motivation, and KPI achievement

• Participate in sales reviews to identify improvement opportunities

• Help Management evaluate what works and what does not in daily sales execution

6. Customer Handling & Issue Support

• Act as a first-level escalation point for sales-related customer issues

• Coordinate internally to resolve issues efficiently

• Escalate complex or sensitive matters to Management when required

• Ensure customer communication remains professional and aligned with company standards

7. Management Support & Ad-hoc Duties

• Support Management in implementing sales initiatives, campaigns, or SOP updates

• Assist in sales meetings, briefings, and internal reviews

• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management
