A leading quality assurance company in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant for Quality Assurance in Shah Alam. The role involves conducting quality control inspections, maintaining accurate quality records, and assisting in audits. Candidates should have a Diploma in food science or a related field and knowledge of HACCP/GMP. Familiarity with MS Office is essential. This position offers an opportunity to support quality improvement initiatives within a collaborative team.
Conduct QC inspections, maintain quality records, assist audits, handle complaints, and support quality improvement initiatives
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine QC inspections of incoming materials, in-process manufacturing, and finished goods to ensure compliance to quality standards
Maintain quality records and reports in a timely and accurate manner
Assist in internal and external quality audits
Support the investigation and closure of product quality complaints and non-conformance
Monitor service quality of external vendors such as pest control and etc
Provide technical assistance to improve product quality and process
Assist in providing training to employees on quality awareness and management
Perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in food science or quality related courses
Work experience in food industry will be added advantage
Knowledge in quality control process and food regulation
Knowledge in HACCP/GMP or other quality management systems
Proficiencies in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
