A manufacturing firm in Penang is seeking a Quality Management Executive. The role involves managing customer complaints, conducting audits to ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and HALAL standards. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and experience in QA/QC processes. Strong communication, documentation skills, and a keen attention to detail are essential. Perform initial complaint reviews and assessments.
Lead or support root cause analysis for customer complaints.
Coordinate and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Prepare customer responses, reports and follow-up communications.
Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping and traceability of complaints.
Analyze complaint data, identify trends and report findings to management.
Support audits and quality system requirements related to customer complaints.
Promote a strong customer-focused quality culture.
Plan, schedule and conduct internal audits in compliance with GMP, ISO, company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct or coordinate external audits, including customer and certification audits.
Prepare audit plans, checklists, documentation and audit reports.
Follow up on audit findings and monitor the effectiveness of CAPA implementation.
Support regulatory inspections and customer audits.
Monitor ongoing compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide audit-related training and awareness to employees.
Maintain complete and accurate audit records.
Coordinate and follow up on Management Review meetings for QMS and EMS, including preparation of meeting minutes.
Track, coordinate and compile external audit findings for QMS, EMS, GMP, HALAL and other certifications.
Prepare audit schedules, audit plans and checklists for internal audits.
Update and maintain SOPs related to QMS, EMS and HALAL.
Perform duties as an Internal Auditor for QMS, EMS, GMP, HALAL and other systems.
Update risk assessments for QMS, EMS and HALAL.
Coordinate Aspect & Impact evaluations and update the Environmental Management Program (EMP).
Update hazardous chemical health risk assessments monthly (EMS).
Prepare compliance evaluation schedules for EMS.
Coordinate and monitor CHRA, water sampling, air monitoring, boundary noise and chimney monitoring on an annual basis.
Act as OSH Coordinator for the OSHA Committee.
Monitor factory compliance to ensure adherence to environmental, safety and regulatory requirements at all times.
Serve as Halal Executive in the Halal Organization Chart at the Penang Plant.
Update and maintain the Halal Manual and Halal Assurance System (HAS).
Ensure ongoing compliance with HALAL requirements and standards.
Act as Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) Management Representative for the Penang Plant.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across quality, safety, and environmental systems.
