A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Production & Inventory Manager to oversee job orders and inventory management. The successful candidate will ensure that all job orders are accurate, monitor raw material inventory levels, and coordinate logistics for timely deliveries. Create and issue job orders to the production team.
Ensure all job orders are accurate, complete, and aligned with project timelines.
Coordinate with the production supervisor to track progress and ensure timely completion.
2. Material & Product Inventory Control
Monitor raw material inventory levels and update stock records regularly.
Conduct routine inventory checks for finished products.
Report shortages, discrepancies, and slow-moving items to management.
3. Purchasing & Procurement
Prepare and issue purchase orders for raw materials based on production needs.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
Maintain proper documentation of purchases and supplier communications.
4. Logistics & Delivery Coordination
Arrange deliveries to customers and ensure dispatch schedules are met.
Work closely with the warehouse team to prepare and load items for shipment.
Handle delivery-related documentation, including DOs and customer confirmations.
