ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER - HOTEL/RESORT
We are looking for a creative and organized storyteller to serve as the right hand to the Director of Marketing and Communications. This is a rare opportunity to help launch an ultra-luxury resort in the heart of the Celebes Sea, nearby Sipadan and Mabul Island. You will play a crucial role in bringing our brand to life, executing campaigns that position us alongside the world’s finest 5-Star properties.
Your Day-to-Day
- Campaign Execution: Assist in rolling out marketing and PR campaigns, ensuring all timelines and brand standards are met with precision.
- Content Coordination: Manage the day-to-day social media calendar, draft engaging copy, and coordinate photoshoots to ensure our visual storytelling is flawless.
- Brand Guardianship: Review and update all on-property collateral (menus, signages, in-room directories) to ensure the "voice" of the resort remains consistent and luxurious.
- Media & Influencer Relations: Handle the logistics for media visits and influencer stays (itineraries, hosting, and follow-ups) to ensure they have an impeccable experience.
- Performance Reporting: Track campaign results and social media analytics, preparing simple, insightful reports to help us refine our strategy.
- Administrative Support: Manage marketing budgets, process invoices, and maintain the digital asset library.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2–4 years in marketing, communications, or public relations. Hospitality background is a plus, but a passion for luxury lifestyle is a must.
- The Skillset: You are a strong writer with an eye for design. You know your way around social media trends but understand the timeless nature of luxury.
- The Attitude: Organized, adaptable, and eager to learn. You are calm under pressure and ready to tackle everything from high-level brainstorming to last-minute event prep.
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is a must to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Canva, MS Office, and social media management tools.
You will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Communications, gaining mentorship and hands-on experience in a pre-opening environment - the "bootcamp" of the hospitality world. This is the perfect launchpad for your career in luxury travel.
