Assistant Marketing Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Assistant Marketing Manager to join our vibrant team at Pecca Leather Sdn Bhd in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing efforts and contributing to the overall success of our company.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business and sales objectives.
• Work closely with Senior Management, Sales, and internal stakeholders to drive marketing initiatives.
• Manage and control the marketing budget in collaboration with the finance personnel.
• Lead strategic brand building to strengthen brand awareness and market positioning.
• Enhance consumer brand experience and premium perception across Pecca and its associates brands.
• Drive brand equity growth and increase customer willingness to pay.
• Plan and execute retail marketing strategies, including showroom/gallery concepts and campaigns.
• Oversee showroom renovation and launch within approved budget and timelines.
• Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities for strategic insights.
• Plan and manage PR, media relations, and corporate communications.
• Lead digital marketing and social media communications, including e-newsletters.
• Develop and provide effective marketing and promotional materials to support business needs.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a marketing or assistant marketing role, brand management or related areas, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Strong understanding of branding, campaign management and market analysis.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, website management, and analytics.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail to develop engaging marketing content.
• Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
