Job description

Responsible for the overall Group of Companies corporate tax (direct tax and indirect tax) statutory compliance requirements.

Liaise with tax agent and / or authorities for the preparation of tax estimate, tax computation, tax filing and tax audit inquiries.

Calculation and preparation of withholding tax, real property gains tax, capital gain tax, sales and service tax for tax returns/documents and payments.

Prepare of Transfer Pricing documents on related companies' transactions

Attend to all correspondences with the tax authorities, customes department, and/or any federal/state government agencies or bodies in relation to any applications for incentives or approvals or refund and etc.

Guide, plan and prepare the capital allowance schedule and compile supporting documents in relation tax income and deduction expenses for annual tax filing.

Undertake any ad-hoc duties/assisgnments (not necessary relates to corporate tax matters) instructed by superior

Job Requirements

Minimum qualification of Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Taxation or equivalent.

At least 5 years experience or above in tax / accounting firm or major corporation.

Possess professional qualifications (MIT, MIA, MICPA, ACCA or equivalent) is added advantage.

Good understanding of tax regulations and practices.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsible and able to work under pressure.

Good communication skills in English, Malay and Mandarin will be added advantages.
