Job description
Assistant Manager / Manager, Strategic Planning

Assist the strategising, planning, coordinating and executing of initiatives from initiation to conclusion as required by the Department.

Explore, identify & analyse emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, viability assessments, partnership potentials and business process improvements across the Group.

Conduct market research based on established data & newly acquired data to form investment / strategic hypotheses/feasibility analysis to support key decision-making of the company.

Support the origination, evaluation, and execution of corporate finance, M&A, and investment initiatives, including coordination during negotiations, deal execution, and post-transaction integration.

Facilitates financial planning & analysis roles on divisional performances and operational matrices as part of effective investor relations communication & engagement.

Assist in formulating business strategies through thorough review and discussion involving various business units to form a robust value creation plan.

Job Requirements:

At least Degree in any discipline preferably in Finance/Business/ Economics/Strategy. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

At least 5 years in corporate finance, business planning, business development, commercial and strategic communication.
